372: Happy Handwashing Song

Color / Activity Sheet -  Measures: 8½" x 11”
Age: All Elementary, Families

Safetypup® helps children understand the steps of washing their hands correctly as an important infection control measure. The Happy Handwashing Song helps kids learn how to wash their hands thoroughly in a fun way! By washing for as long as it takes to sing the song twice, they will build handwashing skills they will practice throughout their lives. Safetypup® also explains what germs are and why it is important to wash your hands often.

The Keeping Myself Safe Promise, that an adult can read aloud, explains other age-appropriate virus prevention rules. An adult and the child sign and date the sheet when the lessons are learned.

Messages Include: Handwashing; Germs; Washing for 20 Seconds; Wearing a Mask; Telling an Adult if You Feel Sick; Cover a Cough; Coughing or Sneezing Into Your Elbow; Washing Before and After School.
