Be safe in and on the water!

This water safety manual is especially designed for young swimmers and boaters. It discusses all aspects of water safety so children can be safe no matter what type of water activity they enjoy, such as swimming, boating, sailing, rowing, canoeing, water-skiing, tubing, fishing, or ice skating.

Potential hazards in areas where children may encounter water are also discussed such as indoor or outdoor pools, lakes, oceans, ponds, and rivers or hot tubs, spas, and whirlpools. The lesson guide offers additional thoughts and ideas to reinforce each lesson. A QR code is provided on the introduction page which is linked to Safetypup®’s Water Safety Song for children to listen to or sing along.
