Pumper® the Fire Truck is a remote control battery-powered truck to assist Fire Department’s in their community education efforts. It must only be used at programs or events that further public information, education, and awareness of fire safety.
This vehicle is for adult use only! It is not to be driven by children.
Pumper® the Fire Truck should be used under ADULT SUPERVISION at all times. Children are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN from riding in or operating the truck, the remote control, or the battery charger. *A child riding in the truck could override the remote control.

REMOTE:
- For adult use only.
- Keep the remote dry.
- Never mix old and new batteries.
- Take batteries out if storing for an extended time.
CHARGING:
- Charging by adults only.
- First charge takes 8-12 hours.
- Run time: 1-2 hours.
- If the truck slows down, charge for at least 8-12 hours or a maximum of 20 hours.
- Before charging, check for any damage.
- Never use until fully repaired.
- A warm battery when charging is normal.
- Charge away from flammable materials.
CARRYING:
- There is a handle and caster wheels under the truck.
- Rotate them out to carry the truck like a piece of luggage.
- When not needed, push them back in to save space.
OPERATION:
- Follow manufacturers instructions.
- Use only in daytime or a well-lit place.
- Avoid using in areas with low visibility.
- A spotter is advisable as a second set of eyes on the vehicle.
- Vehicle use is prohibited in the road or other places for driving and walking.
- Use on hard, flat, dry surfaces.
- Never operate in the rain or on wet pathways.
- Avoid driving on sand, grass, slopes, uneven ground, or anywhere where there are obstacles.
MAINTENANCE:
- Inspect wires, plugs, and other components for damage before each use.
- If damaged, stop using until fully repaired.
- Clean with a soft cloth and water. Do not use soap or chemical solvents.
- Avoid using non-manufacturer replacement parts.
STORING:
- Cut off the power and make sure all switches are in the “off” or “stop” position when not in use.
- Store indoors.
- To store for an extended time, charge the battery fully, then charge it every 3 months or so to extend the battery life.
